About Us
PSYCON was born in Eastern Europe in 2009 as an ambitious experiment — to unite psychotherapy, assessment, and education within one professional community. What began as a local conference quickly evolved into a network of international learning experiences that connect psychologists across continents.
Our Journey Milestones
Over the years, PSYCON has hosted and co-organized major events with leading figures in psychology and psychotherapy:
2012 — first visit of Nancy McWilliams to Eastern Europe
2014–2016 — a series of seminars by Viktor Kahan
2015 & 2018 — visits by world-renowned psychoanalyst Otto Kernberg
2019 — online meeting with Les Greenberg, founder of Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT)
2020 — parenting seminar by Dima Zicer
2021 & 2023 — large online seminars with Nancy McWilliams
2025 — launch of the renewed PSYCON online platform
2026 — upcoming international event with Nancy McWilliams and Michael Garrett
